Men's Spring Season 2018

The OBHL is excited to run the Men's League out of Fifty Point AND Confederation Beach Park rinks! More seperated division locations to occur this spring!
Teams can Register Online or at the Fifty Point Office for Either The OBHL Confed or OBHL Fifty Point Location. Fifty Point office is open Sun 3-5pm and Wed 7-9pm all winter with men's league games. We are offering a Men's +30 division and a draft league division for single players or small groups.

Spring Season Start Up:
The Season will Start March 11th weekend.

Division Information:
Men's Weekday Registration:
Teams sign up for either a Monday+Wednesday+Weekend Division OR a Tuesday+Thursday+Weekend Division....The League and Team Reps will make the divisions and as fun and fair as possible for players to enjoy the recreational sport with their friends in a beautiful famliy fun environment. Teams may be moved to make divisions as fun as possible.

Men's Weekday Division Titles: The OBHL ranks its divisions by letters A, B, C, D. Sometimes we split divisions ex C1, C2, this depends on the teams registered for the current season.

Men's +30 Division: We are offering a +30 Division to accomadate teams of older men. You can select the +30 division during registration. Scheduling will be the similar as mentioned below and once enough teams for the division we will have a seperate meeting to set any custom rules and guidelines. No players under age allowed.

Men's Season Scheduling:
The league has evolved with the addition of OBHL-CBP the scheduling has become better.
Games per week: Teams usually play 2 games a week over the season schedule. Teams can pick to have either a Monday and Wednesday + Weekend Schedule OR a Tuesday and Thursday + Weekend Schedule. Divisions are created based on scheduling availability and skill level.

Weekend Times Available to Play: (Teams Must Pick 2 of 3 below to have a successful match with other teams in their division)
1 - Friday 7-10pm
2 - Sat 1pm-10pm
3 - Sun 10am-10pm
Start times will vary and we try our best to accommodate any specific requests but chances are slim.

Season Details:
-Teams get a minimum of 14 games. (12 Regular Season Games + Playoffs - Best 2 out of 3).
-Individual Championship Player Prizes are Awarded to Every Championship Team.
-OBHL players qualify for "League Member Rental Rates" See rentals page
-Free Electronic Ball Hockey Passes are used to gain access into the Fifty Point Conservation Area for the entire season. No passes are needed for Confederation Park as it is a public park.
-Free League App for your phone equiped with schedule stats and standings.
-Automatic email reminders 24hrs before each game if players submitt thier email address
-Super Fun Outdoor Ball Hockey with your friends at Fantastic Fifty Point Conservation Area and at Amazing Confederation Beach Park!

Men's Spring 2018 League Fees:
Early Bird Team Registration Fee: $1539.82 + HST = $1740 (until Jan 31st)
Regular Team Registration Fee: $1561.95 + HST = $1765 (Feb 1st to Feb 14th)
Late Team Registration Fee: $1584.07 + HST = $1790 (Feb 15th onward)

LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS FEB 25TH - SEASON STARTS MAR 11TH

Team Deposit is required for registrations to go through. Team reps helps figure out what each player pays for their team. Teams can make many payments but there is a muinimum payment due each game to play. A $30 Payment Plan fee added after game 3. All fees due by game 9.

OBHL Pay in Full Special Additional Savings!
If the team is paid in full before the first game; the team will receive $50 off their next season. Take advantage of the savings!

Team Roster:
Maximum 16 player roster is allowed, 3 lines and a goalie.
League admins can help teams find players and goalies, just contact us.

NEW TEAM TO THE LEAGUE?
New teams please email the Men’s Coordinator, Ty Reidy. If your players are new to the league we will LIKELY get you to do a free 1 hour scrimmage/evaluation to determine the proper division for your team. For more info email: ty@playobhl.ca

Individual Players Without a Team:
Individual Player Registration either email Ty Reidy to join a team in the men's league or Sign up online for a possible individual draft league (division made from individuals), or a draft team fitted into the proper men's division or we can add groups together and individuals to teams looking for players. Fee is $123.89+HST=$140

Equipment and Uniforms:
Players 18 and over are required to wear protective gloves (hockey/lacrosse) and a stick and a team jersey/shirt to play. Sticks can be anything but no wooden blades, we are phasing out wooden bladed sticks, andany wooden blades that are split will not be allowed to be used. All adult teams are required to have thier own uniforms with the same base color and individual number required. Uniforms can be t-shirts or jerseys but all must have numbers.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
Come to the team rep meeting to help with division setup and go over any topics needed to be discussed. This season we will discuss: league fees, advance prize ordering, new rules for limits of cross division players on multiple teams from A and B into C and D.
